FARM PROFILE Mission: To raise easy doing and thick cattle. Lazy H Farm is a family owned business, started in 1975 near Maymont, Saskatchewan. This beautiful area lies only 3 miles from the scenic North Saskatchewan River. The Farm focuses on two main sectors of the Agricultural Industry - Beef Cattle and Grain. The beef production consists of both the Angus and Maine-Anjou breeds as purebred and commercial. Lazy H Farm has been involved with the Western Canadian show circuit for over 25 years. The many Champion banners adorning the walls attest to the show-ability and functionality of the herd. Our cattle are sold both privately off the farm and at public auctions. We have been contributors to the Angus Pride Sale and the Mid-Canada Maine Sale, both in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We calve February through March, and aim to wean our calves in September/October weighing in at 700lbs. To stay on our farm, the cows must have lots of milk and be easy doing, as we do not have much hay land. |
